Wednesbury and West Bromwich Bus Stations

University of Warwick Tennis Centre
To improve energy efficiency and lighting levels on these indoor playing courts, Thorlux Lighting retrofitted the existing high-bay lighting. To minimise waste, a slot-in LED retrofit gear tray was developed to replace the old fluorescent lamps while keeping the existing fitting bodies and louvres in use.
Fenner's Indoor Cricket School, University of Cambridge
This customer sought to install a lighting system to improve light uniformity, reduce energy consumption, and create a more engaging environment for players and coaches. It was also essential that the luminaires used have a high degree of impact resistance. For this reason, Thorlux Visio Sport luminaires were selected.
Ryan Centre
The pool area at this leisure centre was lit with ageing, failing DALI-operated first-generation LEDs; they had been running 12 hours a day since installation, years before. Thorlux refurbished the gear trays, replacing the LED PCBs and drivers to increase their performance and efficiency. Additionally, the luminaires were upgraded to use SmartScan controls.
Aston University Library
At this site, engineers fitted 657 luminaires with new Thorlux Light Line Retrofit kits. After removing the old louvres, lamps, and drivers, engineers clipped the drop-in retrofit kits directly into the existing luminaire chassis. This has resulted in significant energy and carbon savings, while minimising waste from the changeover.
St Philip’s Church Centre
