Atlant Loohof Nursing Home
Lighting is crucial to creating a pleasant, healthy atmosphere for nursing home residents and staff. Good lighting improves comfort and safety, and can increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. For this project, SmartScan ColourActive luminaires were also implemented in specific areas, allowing scheduled light colour temperature adjustments.

The primary aims of the new lighting scheme at this hospital were to improve lighting levels and minimise energy usage, while providing a safe and comfortable environment for the public and staff. By replacing the existing T8, T12 and compact fluorescent lamps with energy-efficient LED luminaires, the number of luminaires required was reduced by 18%.
Belfast City Hospital
The lighting control system installed at this hospital is from the Thorlux ColourActive range, which cycles the colour temperature of the light source over 24 hours. The luminaires' colour temperature (CCT) varies from 3000K to 6500K to replicate natural daylight changes.
