The SmartScan Gateway transmits energy performance and status reports for both standard and emergency luminaires to the SmartScan web server.

- Central monitoring for up to 250 SmartScan and SmartScan emergency luminaires. Extra Gateways can be fitted to accommodate more luminaires
- Central time control for SmartScan External luminaires
- Communicates with the SmartScan website using MQTT mobile telecommunications
- Enables scheduled emergency test times / dates managed using the SmartScan website
- Status Indicators show operational condition
- Software security updates will be provided for a minimum of 10 years
- Ethernet connection for alternate connectivity to SmartScan website
