Atlant Loohof Nursing Home

Case Study

Lighting is crucial to creating a pleasant, healthy atmosphere for nursing home residents and staff. Good lighting improves comfort and safety, and can increase efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. For this project, SmartScan ColourActive luminaires were also implemented in specific areas, allowing scheduled light colour temperature adjustments.

Glenfield Hospital

A mental health facility run by Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. Thorlux has undertaken two lighting projects on this site.

The Redwoods Centre

This purpose-built, award-winning inpatient facility offers 79 beds for adults with acute mental health problems, dementia and rehabilitation needs, as well as a 32-bedded low security forensic unit. Suitable Thorlux luminaires have been used, many with anti-ligature adaptations.
