Thoroproof – High-performance lighting for demanding environments

The Thoroproof range of industrial luminaires has undergone a significant update with a new body and cover design, new features and significantly updated performance.

The new version is rated to IP66 as standard, including SmartScan sensor versions. This new body design is available in 1200 mm and 1500 mm lengths.

Installation is effortless, with easy-to-operate cover clips and a simple-to-remove gear tray which can be conveniently hung in situ for fast electrical connection. Mounting is via adjustable, external, stainless-steel brackets which maintains IP integrity.

The opalised polycarbonate cover is affixed with a choice of either polycarbonate or stainless-steel clips, both of which can be rendered tamper-proof by use of appropriate screws. As with previous versions, the body and cover are made from durable polycarbonate and are fire-retardant.

With SmartScan connectivity, optional through-wiring, and an impressive 167.9 LL/CW efficacy, the updated Thoroproof offers a modern, practical lighting solution for a range of applications, including cold stores, printing works, water treatment plants and pump rooms, industrial process areas, shower rooms and toilet blocks.
