Zeblux – Comprehensive range for safer road crossings

Stop, look, and listen – the new Thorlux Zeblux range of IP65-rated Belisha beacons is now available, providing a comprehensive, long-life solution for zebra crossing safety.

Featuring excellent energy efficiency and market-leading water ingress protection, both the standard Zeblux LED globe and its sibling, the Zeblux Plus, are constructed from UV12-stabilised, rotationally moulded polyethene with a marine-grade aluminium gallery. Zeblux Plus features two additional high-intensity LED strips on the circumference of the globe, providing extra definition and visibility if needed.

The low-voltage, purpose-designed LED driver has built-in beacon-synchronised flash circuitry, allowing 40 flashes per minute. The beacons are available with 76 mm, 84 mm, or 114 mm diameter bases for fitting on existing pole tops. Zeblux beacons are supplied pre-wired with a four-metre drop lead and 24-volt power supply; they are also available with an optional three-metre illuminated pole.

Furthermore, both Zeblux and Zeblux Plus are also available as modular retrofit kits. Zeblux Retrofit provides a smart, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective way to quickly repurpose existing non-illuminated 76 mm beacon posts as fully compliant 114 mm illuminated Belisha beacons. The retrofit kit is supplied with an illuminated oversleeve for the post.

The Zeblux range is fully compliant with BS 8442:2022, providing safe and reliable crossing lighting with options to suit every requirement.
